I can’t belive that this year is already almost done! I mean it went by so fast! It seems like just yesterday I was moving back in and here I am. The more I think about it the more if feels like I just moved in and This is my first week here at MOC as a freshmen! There are times that I wish I could go back to that girl!
History has shown….
I think it is amazing how people can change and yet they tell you that you are the one that changed! I mean sure everyone changes. Sometimes this change is for the better sometimes it is for the worst! It all just depends on who you are and who you let change you and how you are changed! I know I have changed for the better! I have come to college done a lot of growing up and a lot of it had been because I am on my own and making decisions that are going to make my life better when I graduate! I know that I will be one day on my own away from my family more so than i am now! And I know that I will be making my own money and paying my own bills and doing everything that adults do! My best friend made her own decisions and went to Disney World and started to work! she is now on her own and doing everything that I will be one day doing! The difference is that we have grown apart because of the decisions we have made! I chose to come to college and live my life trying to get a better education and she is done getting an education! Now you may ask what is she going to do when she gets to old to work there! I can say that I do not know and I have asked myself that question! I want to have my education so that one day I might make a difference in this world! I don’t want to be someone who has to depend on others! And I am not saying that she will be that person! I just know that whatever happens She has made her choice and I have made mine! I am happy with the choice that I made! I know that it may not be with the major that I want but it is what I know I will be happy doing for the rest of my life! In studying History here at MOC I know that History is always doomed to repeat its self! I am a confident young women who is not going to let her History repeat its self!
